To Whom It May Concern,
I'm interested in obtaining a position as a worker on your farm. I have loved farms since I was four and my grandma gave me my first pair of cowgirl boots. As you'll see by my attached resume, I have a great deal of applicable experience. In my time working at Starbucks and Deaf Dog Coffee I worked very closely with large amounts of milk. In my time working at Jungle Vibes Toy and Gift Emporium I had to sweep and vacuum, so I would be very comfortable cleaning animal pens. Last year I had a fairly successful vegetable garden for a couple months, and I'm certain I'll be able to transfer the skills I used in repotting tomatoes, and herbs, to make your crops flourish. Not mentioned in my resume is the fact that my sister was District 3 Dairy Princess for 2009-2010. To win the crown, she had to become very knowledgeable about the dairy industry, and as a benefit, I've picked up a few pearls of wisdom along the way. I also am very comfortable wearing overalls and I can play jaw harp to anyone's banjo at sunset on the porch. I know at least three kinds of rain dances as well, in case of drought. Please see the links below for youtube clips of me demonstrating these dances.
I'm willing to harvest your crops. I'm willing to shovel manure. I'm willing to slaughter your pigs. I will milk your cows, pluck the eggs from your coops, drink Folger's coffee, black, and eat cans of beans that have been heated on the open flame. I will work sunup to sundown, doing my best to be a team player even though I'm not bilingual. I am a fast learner and truly dedicated to the lifestyle that I've read about in Steinbeck books and in watching Lonesome Dove (which is my favorite movie…).
I look forward to a fruitful future with your farm.
